Build Interest And Create Rapport With Autoresponder Messages

If you have decided to use and autoresponder to help sell your product or service and build your business through the web, you must be very careful about how you are approaching that potential customer. Very few people in this day and age like a hard sell; traditional marketing research has shown that a prospect must hear your message an average of seven times before they make a purchase, so how do you accomplish this with autoresponders?

The answer is very simple really, and autoresponders make getting that message to potential customers those seven times extremely possible. Out on the internet without the use of autoresponders you could not achieve that realistically. Far too often many online marketer's will create the fatal error of slamming the prospect with a hard sales pitch in the very first message, this will definitely not work for you.

To use autoresponders correctly within an email campaign you should look to build interest slowly, start with an informative message, a message that educates the reader in some way and provides value to them in relation to your topic. At the bottom of the message, by all means include a call to action, a link through to the sales page, although if it is the first message keep it very subtle, use the first message to focus on the problem that will be solved by your product, with just a mere hint of the solution.

Use the first message to build momentum with your email marketing campaign, in your next message look to highlight the benefits of your product, but do this through giving the reader more actual and useful information with each and every subsequent message. Fee information is vital in keeping them interested in what you have to say. Your final message should indeed be the sales pitch because you have given throughout your series of messages and now it is indeed time to take.

This very form of marketing is indeed an art form and will take a little time to perfect and get right. My suggestion would be to use the examples that fellow marketers have set for you, if you look at a lot of the big names within the internet marketing world, they have one common theme running throughout their marketing and that is the medium of using email in order to communicate to their prospects.

Pay attention to other marketers, create a swipe file and subscribe to their lists, look at the headlines they use in their emails and the way they structure their message, what are they giving away in order for people to join the list? Use some of the better copy as content for your own messages; just be sure not to completely copy their material,

Be sure to remember that the relationship you are trying to create with your prospects doesn't start with your hard sales pitch. Keep building on what the problem is, and how your product or service can solve that problem or fill that need. If you do this right your customers will come to you ready to buy.
